How Much Is COVID Spreading In Parsippany?

PARSIPPANY, NJ — The trajectory of the coronavirus remains unpredictable with schools returning and weather likely cooling from here on out. But here's what we know about Parsippany.

Morris County averaged 69.2 new cases per day in the past week, according to the New Jersey Department of Health. Parsippany had 70 infections from Sept. 8 to Friday, bringing the township to 4,622 cases since the pandemic began — a 1.54 percent increase to Parsippany's total.

Here are the local hospital ICU statistics as of Friday, according to the Department of Health and Human Services:

• Morristown Medical Center: 28.66 percent of ICU beds available
• Saint Clare's Denville Hospital: 69.23 percent of ICU beds available
• Kindred Hospital New Jersey - Morris County (Dover): ICU bed data unavailable
• Overlook Medical Center (Summit): 53.62 percent of ICU beds available
• Saint Barnabas Medical Center (Livingston): 52.63 percent of ICU beds available
