Little Vikings Make Big Statement With Conference Championship Win

Group of seventh-graders are now Morris County Youth champions.

For a group of seventh grade boys from Parsippany, this was a football season to remember.

The Little Vikings Junior Varsity football team, which blazed through the regular season and amassed eight wins to just one loss, brought its talents into the National Conference Championship game against the Long Valley Raiders.

The game, held at the neutral Freedom Field in Randolph, was suspenseful until the waning seconds, but saw the Little Vikings complete their conquest by a score of 16-8 on Saturday.
