Local Middle School Student to Perform in The Musical SCHOOL OF ROCK!

Mountain Lakes’ Middle School student, Toleeya Napolitano will be playing TOMIKA in the Tony Award Nominated Musical, SCHOOL OF ROCK, KOTA's Youth Production at UCPAC, Rahway, NJ, on May 21 at 7:30 pm and May 22 at 2 pm.

School of Rock is a brand new musical based on the famous Paramount film. The stage musical on Broadway is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who has composed 14 new songs to create a score. School of Rock, with its sensational live kids’ rock band, is a loving testimony to the transforming power of music.

Toleeya has been previously seen in Off-Broadway Dream Street (Sophie), The Pearl Theater; Never Change (Doge), Manhattan Repertory Theater; Annie Jr (Tessie), The Marjorie S. Deane Theater; Number the Stars (Annemarie Johansen), The Davenport Theatre. Toleeya loves to share her talent and contribute to great causes and Benefit Concerts, which include: Heart to Heart at 54 Below (Benefit for Free2Luv); A Tribute to America at Bickford Theater (Benefit for Hurricane Sandy Victims); Lyrics for Life at Symphony Space (Benefit for The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, AFSP).

Scenes from the School of Rock movie, starring Jack Black, were filmed at UCPAC in 2002. The 1,300-seat historical Vaudeville Theatre continues to host celebrity artists, concerts, musicals and community events.
