Medical Media Gets Fact Check Headquarters in Parsippany NJ; AMMRCA.org to HQ in Parsippany NJ

The truth behind all the drug AD claims. Who can you trust? Not only is the manufacturer liable but the media has a responsibility to YOU.

BBNJ- Parsippany, NJ- July 1 2016-- Medical media includes any ads or content that relate to medicine, pharma, drugs, devises or any health claims. You the consumer of health information see it all the time in media content and advertising. The American Medical Media Responsibility and Compliance Authority is an independent self regulatory fact checking service designed to "safe harbor" the media (and its consumers) from fraud. Look for the AMMRCA seal as you consume health information. The AMMRCA is actively looking for headquarter space in Parsippany,NJ. It's purpose is to be proactive so that the consumer can avoid scams or fraud.

Every Pharmaceutical Company in New Jersey has (in the past) or is currently operating under a corporate integrity agreement (CIA) enforced by the United States Government. This means that at one point each of these NJ Pharma companies were either accused or did something so severely wrong to deceive the government or us, the consumer. The parties (the RX company and Government) settled differences by agreement, which includes paying a fine and operating (for five years) under the scrutiny of a CIA agreement.

As for those living in NJ, especially the surrounding Parsippany area, we all know someone who works for Pharma and as they might argue the company made a small mistake, or it was not a life or death wrong, or it was erroneous...or in the alternative.... they may say "it's all true!....". So why should a typical reader of the Parsippany Patch give a hoot? Well, just as every painter needs a canvas, these days every pharmaceutical company needs the media, including the Patch in one way shape or form. And the government is looking for the media to be more responsible as medical media is put forth and if they don't? What's next? The media can and be fined the same, which can be hundreds of millions of dollars. Local portals and newspapers just cannot afford to become part of the problem. In TV broadcast (not cable) The American Medical Media Responsibility and Compliance Authority protects each participating TV station (and their viewers) with facts checks of both content and advertising.
