Our guest speakers will be presenting monthly on numerous topics of interest to help better inform and support the special needs community. Many special needs parents and families are confused with the scheduled changes to PerformCare and DDD.
On Thursday, September 24th, meet guest speaker, Jennifer Joyce, Director of Employment, Transition & Day Services for the Department of Human Services and the Division of Developmental Disabilities for the State of NJ. Jennifer is well-versed on the new system and can effectively communicate these changes to concerned parents.
Our seminar series continues as follows:
Thursday October 22nd: “How to Interpret your IEP” - Presented by: Julie Warshaw, Esq., of Warshaw Law
Saturday November 14th: Special Needs Resource Expo from 9am – 1pm 20 -25 professionals and organizations represented for a meet and greet.
We will resume our seminar series in January, and run through the spring. Please stay tuned for more exciting details. Looking forward to seeing you all!
