
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Multiple Morris County towns got more than five inches of rain during this weekends nor'easter, the National Weather Service said.
Randolph and Morris Plains both saw over 5 inches, the NWS said (see a list of all the Morris County towns measured below; not all towns were measured). The storm caused the Whippany River to rise in a flood action.

Nearly 10,000 homes lost power as a result, cancelling schools in multiple districts. Power was restored by Monday afternoon for many homes, but thousands will be dark until later Monday night, JCP&L.
