Mother Earth in Trouble Again in Parsippany

Our Master Plan must become a covenant with community. Not GTP, LLC flawed Proposal and Environmental Impact Study. Real Life Matters.

Parsippany's Past Leadership has left US vulnerable to more OverDevelopment. Now Saint Christophers.
What is the True Inherit Benefit? How can it be for profit senior health care.

The fact that Parsippany did not defend it "remaining" environmentally sensitive areas, knowing that the Housing Episode was approaching, but rather used, what i believe was a scorched earth approach favoring unneeded development like waterview, UPS (A PILOT deal) ,700 Mountain Way/ Forge Pond, and Intervale Reservoir View. Most if not all, of these developments would never have been taken by Fair Share Housing, due to their environmental sensitivity, and COAH's own policies. The former Administration favored corporate developers and tied the hands of the Planning & Zoning Boards under John Inglesino, who represented a clear conflict of interest, while "representing the town". St. Christopher landscape is another leftover from this administration,as it could of been purchased back in 2013 for open space.

Parsippany's former Administration used fear tactics and deliberate disinformation concerning the affordable housing fiasco. You don't evade a responsibility, you figure how best to conform and do what is best for all, including your town character inherit in its remaining environmentally valuable landscapes, providing ecosystem services free of charge.
Parsippany has more than enough housing already, both affordable and luxury, and empty structures to boot because of overdevelopment; it shows something about the system we live under, when citizens and residents are told, present housing counts not, and how it affects schools and traffic and increased cumulative impacts, pollutions and hidden costs mean nothing to the law, which in this case is giving the building industry a private interest Carte blanche over all.

Now GTP,LLC threatens another valuable landscape providing neighborhood character and threshold of ecological services to the biosphere and our aquifer. To keep it short and brief GTP Environmental Impact report concerning the landscape known as Block 166 Lot 96, is flawed and must be exposed. For example let us become familiar with the following.

Emergent properties: Aspects of a complex system's behavior that result from interactions within the system that couldn't have been predicted by an examination of the system's parts. Due to emergent properties, in a complex system the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

Likely emergent properties
1. Aquifer recharge; or loss of another well, increasing the already known water deficit 2. Human happiness anxiety, as character of neighborhood is degraded (for no just cause) 3. Our remaining ecosystem of trees and soil, biomass loses more energy and ability to perform its inherit ecosystem services. 4.Traffic increased pollution.

Landscape” is defined as a large area encompassing an interacting mosaic of ecosystems and human systems that is characterized by a set of intersecting management concerns. The
landscape is not defined by the size of the area, but rather by the interacting elements that are meaningful to the management objectives”.

Our Master Plan must become a covenant with community.
Pride in Parsippany: Where is this pride? In its sports teams, its individual resident's success stories, it’s fortune 500 Money Magazine Corporations? Certainly not in preserving its remaining character inherit in its landscapes?! 2020 Mother Earth in Trouble Again..An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it. Enough is Enough!

Limits to growth is an inherit law that governs all organisms, populations, ecosystems and even the biosphere-systems that all are nested one within the other. But not only do biological systems honor this law, it operates in the Earth's physical systems too. Endless growth is unsustainable .

The Church has made a mistake not offering this land to Parsippany for Open Space. Pope's Laudato Si Encyclical/Catholic Climate Declaration; ignored by Paterson Dioceses

Voices of the Land. In another real sense, the inclusion of land in the market is even worse than marketing labor. The worker can and in combination with his fellows defend him or herself to some degree from the greed of the his employer. Nature can not do this and the environmental destruction and resulting loss of vitality of the ecosphere, (for example the loss of biodiversity) inherit in our civilization, may be an omen of disaster. This environmental destruction will finally become global. Endless growth is unsustainable!
