New Temple Approved For Parsippany

The temple is still in the very early stages of the development process.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — A zoning application to build a new temple in Parsippany has been approved, a township official told Patch.

Vraj Temple submitted a zoning application to build a new location at 120 Littleton Road. The application was approved at the Aug. 16 zoning board meeting.

The Hindi temple is still in the very early stages of the building process. Next, the temple will need to obtain building permits. There is still no public timeline for a potential opening date. There is currently a vacant office building located at 120 Littleton Road. Other office buildings and apartments surround the lot, which is near the Route 287 overpass.

Vraj Temple has not yet returned requests for comment.
