Parsippany area residents are invited to take a beginners yoga class on Thursday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the NewBridge Parsippany Center

Research shows that yoga helps to promote good mental health. As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, NewBridge Services is offering Morris County area residents a free hour-long yoga class on Thursday, May 19 to introduce them to the practice.
The 6:30 p.m. class, led by registered yoga instructor Julie Patyk, will be held at the NewBridge Parsippany Center, located in the Troy Office Centre on Route 46. Patyk has more than 200 hours of yoga-teacher training.
The class kicks off a six-week session to teach beginners gentle yoga poses that will promote both physical and mental wellness. Attendees should wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat, water, and an openness to a new experience.
