NewBridge Services Launches Support Group for Women Over 50 at New Parsippany Location

Support group held at new service center on Route 46, with easy access from Routes 80, 287

Women over age 50 can learn how to flourish in this new phase of life at a support group offered by NewBridge Services at its new location in the Troy Office Center off eastbound Route 46 in Parsippany-Troy Hills.

Women who are interested may call the NewBridge Access Line at (973) 316-9333 to apply. NewBrige opened the 5,320-square-foot center in August to provide counseling and treatment for addiction and mental illness to Morris County residents in a convenient location, near routes 80 and 287.

The nonprofit is a premier provider of counseling services, housing and educational programs in northern New Jersey serving more than 8,500 children, adults and seniors each year.

NewBridge treats mental illnesses and addictions; teaches skills for coping with stress, grief and challenging relationships; builds and manages affordable housing; offers school-based programs that teach children and adolescents resiliency skills for healthy emotional development; helps young adults succeed in their education and prepare for careers; and supports seniors so they can remain independent.

Throughout its more than 50-year history, NewBridge has remained true to its mission of bringing balance to people’s lives by tracking shifts in communities’ needs and providing innovative, effective programs to meet them.
