NJ Sharing Network at Parsippany Summer Concert
Members of the Morris County Organ Transplant Group Handed Out Fans and Spread Awareness on Hot Summer Night
As the crowd filed in to see Radio Nashville on a hot summer night, members of the transplant group handed out free fans to concert goers. At the booth display NJ Sharing Network Ambassadors handed out literature, spread awareness about organ donation and offered other give-aways.
Did you know nearly 4,000 NJ residents are awaiting lifesaving organ transplants? Sadly, 97 people died last year waiting for a transplant at a NJ transplant center. However, 2017 was a record year with more NJ residents than ever giving the gift of life with over 550 organs transplanted.
The Morris County Organ Transplant Group is an official regional group of the NJ Sharing Network. It’s open to anyone who has had an organ or tissue transplant, is wait listed, has donated, donor families as well as friends and family.
