Par Hills Grad Receives Scholarship for Excellence In and Out of Classroom

The party keeps on going for a recent Parsippany Hills High graduate, who was honored by the state for her efforts both in and outside the classroom.

Roma Desai was awarded a $500 New Jersey Scholastic Athletic Association scholarship by Success Communications Group at luncheon recently. Desai was among 194 students from across the state who received $149,500 in scholarships.

Desai excelled as a member of the girls varsity tennis team during her senior, exhibited school and community and citizenship, and kept her grade point average above 3.0, according to a press release.

The Success Communications Group is based in Parsippany with satellite offices throughout the country.
