Hundreds turned out for PTE Opening Day April 27.

Fans, families, volunteers, dignitaries and players turned out for what they hope will be another exciting season of Par-Troy Little League East baseball and softball.

On April 27, opening day ceremonies were held for the league at the PTE complex in Lake Hiawatha, with the ceremonial first pitch thrown by Parsippany Town Council member Jonathan Nelson.

And photos were taken—lots of them—by PTE, which wanted to share the fun and festivities.

In 2012, the league saw major success when its 11/12 All Stars team won state and regional titles that took them to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
