Parsippany Boy Jumps to All-American Athlete Gold at Junior Olympics

Nana Agyemeng is the best long jumper in the country for his age group.

Nana Agyemang can say one thing no other 11 or 12-year-old long jumper in the country can: He’s the best.

The Parsippany boy jumped 5.71 meters at the United States of America Track & Field Junior Olympics Championship last week, good enough for gold in the 11- and 12-year-old division, and was named an All American Athlete for 2014.

He’s now ranked No. 1 in the nation in Long Jump by the Elite Youth National Ranking System.
