Michigan-Bound Burk Makes Big Throw for Par High
Senior sets bar high for 2012 track & field season.
track and field team standout, Stephan Burk, is ready to throw javelin at the highest level. Competing in the U17 Olympic Trials in 2011, Stephen placed second in the United States. Committed to Michigan, Burk has lofty goals for 2012.
In his first meet of 2012, Burk threw the javelin 205 feet, 4 inches, just 9 feet short of the New Jersey high school record.
