The ice hockey team struggled against Madison in a game played at the Mennen Arena Thursday evening, scoring only one goal in the third period and falling, 8-1.

The Red Hawks were unable to generate any scoring on numerous second period power plays that included one nearly two-minute, two-man advantage. Goalie Andres Giraldo had 25 saves on 33 shots on goal. The lone Red Hawk goal came from Bryan Varsalone, assisted by Dakota Duarte.
