Does A Parsippany Restaurant Have NJ's Best Meatballs? 'Pizza Bowl III' Will Decide
The statewide competition of pizza and meatballs benefits the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Does a Parsippany restaurant have New Jersey's best meatballs? Ferraro's Italian Food Specialties will await its fate when it competes in the final rounds of "Pizza Bowl III."
The Pizza Bowl represents a statewide competition of pizza and meatballs. Facebook group Jersey Pizza Joints runs the competition, which begins with statewide polling and culminates in a final bake-off.
The final runs from 12-5 p.m. Feb. 4 at Redds (317 Washington Ave., Carlstadt), benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which honors fallen first responders and wounded veterans. Click here for tickets.

Ferraro's will compete for the "Best Balls in Jersey" trophy.

- Stephen Baker, former Giant and Super Bowl champion
- Joseph D'Onofrio, of Good Fellas
- Artie Pasquale and Tony Cucci, of The Sopranos
- Edward Brigati Jr., singer-songwriter, formerly of The Young Rascals
- Jack Oehm, Tunnels to Towers board member and retired firefighter
- Telina Cuppari, a New Jersey resident who holds the world record for the largest pizza-memorabilia collection
