Parsippany Teen's Photography Lands in Montclair Art Museum
Elizabeth Ocker emerges among top entries in regional competition.
Elizabeth Ocker has a knack for photography, so much so that her recent work is being featured in a month-long exhibit at the Montclair Art Museum.
Ocker, a senior at Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child in Summit, was one of 3,700 student entries for the Regional Scholastic Art Contest, and received honorable mention for her photos “Lone Swing,” “Water Boy,” and “Across the Fence.”
The student’s “Lone Swing” photo is also featured in a Drexel University art exhibition from Feb. 7 to March 6.

As a result of the regional accolades, Ocker’s photos will be part of the month-long exhibit at Montclair Art Museum from Feb. 14 to March 14.
Ocker is one of seven students from the all-girls school to have her artwork displayed in the exhibit.
