Parsippany Woman Smashed Bar Patron's Face With Beer Bottle, Cops Say

Verbal dispute inside Main Event led to physical altercation Friday morning, police report.

A Parsippany woman was jailed recently after allegedly smashing a glass beer bottle into another woman’s face outside a bar, Parsippany police said.

Several officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the parking lot of the Main Event Bar on North Beverwyck Road in Lake Hiawatha around 2:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, police said.

Upon arrival, officers saw an altercation in progress between Isabelle Pisillo, 48, and the victim, a 38-year-old Rockaway woman whose name is not being released.

After the women were separated, police investigated and learned Pisillo and the victim began verbally arguing inside the bar and turned physical when the Parsippany woman struck the other woman in the face with a glass beer bottle, police said.

The alleged assault caused a laceration on the victim’s eyebrow and injury to her eye, police said. Parsippany’s Ambulance, Car 66, responded for medical treatment at the scene.

Pisillo was arrested and charged with second degree aggravated assault and third degree possession of a weapon for a unlawful purposes. Pisillo was then lodged in Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail with no 10-percent option.
