Parsippany Wooded Areas To Be Treated For Mosquitos By Morris Co.
Officials will use all-terrain vehicles to treat areas near Larkspur Street, Sweetwood Court, Pond Road, Ray Road and Carlson Place.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Citing an increase in the adult mosquito population, county officials said that they will be treating a section of Parsippany streets on Wednesday weather-permitting and will use all-terrain vehicles to treat local wooded areas.
The mosquito treatment is scheduled to take place between 5-9 a.m. and Wednesday and if weather does not allow for the procedure to take place, county officials will move the operation to Thursday and Friday.
Morris County’s Mosquito Operation Commission said that it will be using Anvil 2+2, active ingredient Sumithrin, EPA#1021-1687-8329 or Zenivex E4, active ingredient Etofenprox, EPA#2724-807.
