Parsippany's New Rd., Bridge Closed Due To Flooding
Parsippany is still feeling the effects of Tropical Storm Henri.
PARSIPPANY, NJ — Parsippany is still feeling the effects of Tropical Storm Henri. Some roads remain closed as of Tuesday morning.
New Road and the bridge into Montville on Vail Road remain closed, according to police. Plan an alternate route through these locations.
Officials measured 5.59 inches of rain for the area during the storm. The Rockaway River at Boonton, below the reservoir, experienced minor flooding.

The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for the Passaic River, which runs into Morris County, that lasts until midnight Wednesday.
Turn around when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles, according to the National Weather Service.
