Preschool Registration Coming for Parsippany Parents
April 22 is the date to enroll children for pre-kindergarten education in the district.
If you are interested in enrolling your 3- and 4-year-old children into the Parsippany-Troy Hils School District preschool, now's the time to prepare.
Registration for the 2013-14 school year opens Monday, April 22, at three locations: Eastlake School, Lake Hiawatha School and Littleton School.
Sessions will be offered from 9—11:30 a.m. for 3-year-olds, from 9-11:30 a.m. at Littleton for 4-year-olds and from noon-3 p.m. for 4-year-olds.

Preschool is not free: Tuition runs $325 per month for five sessions per week and $200 per month for three sessions held Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week.
There are a number of requirements to enroll in preschool. Prospective students must:

- Parsippany resident
- be a Parsippany resident
- be toilet trained
- complete the required application
- complete the required physical examination form.
In addition, children must have had all mandated immunizations: 4 doses of DTaP, 3 doses of Polio, onedose of MMR Hib, Varicella and Pneumococcal vaccinations.
For preschool, there is no school bus service; parents must arrange transporation for their children.
