Real Republicans Don't Take SuperPac Money. This amounts to a sleaze factor favoring outside forces against community

Parsippany must face its real future only a higher calling of politics, ecology and environmental sustainability can lead us forward

Real republicans don’t need SuperPac; neither do real Democrats especially in local elections.

This bribery; legal bribery is a betrayal of the community and is not organically linked to it, but to the self-serving individuals and corporate power that wishes to place private economic considerations in preference to public environmental values; or shall we say quality of life issues. SuperPac is the outside force not the community; its outward and visible evidence and signs; the large speculative land developments that stand idle, empty office space, and retail malls.

If life is merely the Financialization of such life then we have not life but merely finance with motives not directed toward sustainability, not organically linked to the very systems that give forth life, water, air, earth, plants and animals; we become further and further apart from rather than a part of our own ground of being. Parsippany is part of the Highlands and this element of knowing should lead us to some higher form of recognition of this fact and our responsibility of place within it.

Politics must deal with matters of environmental and ecological integrity; especially in Parsippany.

Drinking water includes landscapes that harbor and protect that substance in its quality and abundance or lack there-of. Leadership in any community within the Highlands should require more than business sense, but a sense of appreciation for nature, as nature gives its gifts free for common utilization and sharing for the common interest. Water is a public trust, water is owned by the citizens in common and is given to the State to protect. In Parsippany part of the Highlands where over 65% of all the States water comes from it has been allowed that a “volunteer” position must be had in matters conforming to the best interest and best land use practices concerning land use, in a background of market speculation development schemes by large corporate land owners, who have their own agenda, not that of Parsippany. We depend on the knowledge, integrity and political attitudes for some outcome of right in civic virtue in these matters. In all too many cases the private considerations win out over the public’s best long term interest. These decisions are based on private property rights over the best interest of the community and region; with reasoning based on more tax dollars or avoiding lawsuits based on rights of property owners or market potentials of developments over long term environmental cost savings scenarios.

Those not realizing the difference between growth and development do not understand or willingly ignore factors of sustainability and accumulative impacts on the surrounding that will surely affect the future in all realms of costs and degradation of life at higher costs.

Parsippany has the open invitation to once again conform to the regional master plan as opposed to its present so-called “home-rule” which has failed the overall community and the wholesome possibilities of a sustainable future. Home rule can declare for itself against unneeded land use, but ours does not. Why; Because of the fear of lawsuits or the rights of property owners against its own community. Regional Planning protects us from these lawsuits, and when development does occur it is of the highest standards and in the appropriate landscapes seen for their natural gifts, sustaining us into a future that is now uncertain.

Why Paul Carifi needs to maintain his Councilship

Parsippany under Mayor Barberio and his mentor John Inglesino have chosen not to conform to the Highlands Regional Plan and in fact have taken us out of conformance, where-by they somehow profit in their self-interest. Behind the scenes is the Governor no friend of the Highlands Legislation and for wrong and false pretexts all proven so. This legislation was overwhelming passed in a bi-partisan manner in 2008, unheard of today. Any Governor and his allies whom knock the Highlands Legislation (Pinelands, Exonerates Exxon and advocates for XL and its related pipelines) surely does not love his State, but places himself above the people, as our Mayor and Councilman dePierro has.

Barberio and dePierro, Ferrara used the fear of public housing to favor more overdevelopment not needed or wanted, that would have forever destroyed a Parsippany neighborhood in no need of rezoning. Let us never forget Waterview and the betrayal of our own leaders towards it citizens combined with total disregard to environmental and community demise.

In the name of sustainability, your future and your children’s, in the name of overwhelming evidence which shows “climate change” is not an opinion but a fact, we need new leadership one man on the ballet can bring us this, Paul Carifi. Paul is a Republican in the old sense of the word, not a SuperPac Crony operating in the shadows of legality and the sleaze factor. It would also be a good thing for at least one democrat to obtain the Council Seat.

The purpose of government is to promote prosperity, create harmony, and prevent destructive competition among various constituted groups. Mayor Barberio’s administration has failed us in this and has his advocate Michael dePierro. My House is Your House, is rather your money is my money; for example the two and half million found mysterious for the field of dreams, with two and a half still missing. Politicians that place themselves above the people like these two deserve not our vote this November. Ask: why are the two opposing Republicans using a “blue sign” with no party affiliation? Because they are not real republicans, but SuperPac opportunist!

How long can Nature entrusted to us; compensate for our waste and indiscretions?

If life eats other life; which it certainly does then here lays the pretext of evolution and progress together. The difference between domestic care and wild profit utilization of nature for collective gathering and hunting; then comes farming and domestic pets or food in the effort of civilization including the plants and animals. How does the Rooster cooperation with the hen in our domain of farm and how does man recognize his place in nature ; what nature; relax man; nature mother does all the work, but for the domestication of said nature by man. Do dogs & cats Count yes; but should they no; for we don’t even count our own species as so valuable. Are we human reality or just pets of the powerfully? The definition of Trust;“reliance on the veracity, integrity, or other virtues of someone or something“ What is this? The definition of trust. Whom can we trust? The answer is simple and obvious or is it; Ask Superfund Candidates!
