Revenue for Fines Penalties Not returned to National Park Units. Asking Help from Congressman Frelinghuysen

Our National parks have already suffered from austerity measures and budget cuts. How can America be great without its sacred landscapes?

Ongoing Injustice Toward National Parks

This is an effort to alert all caring citizens of an ongoing injustice concerning our National Parks in the realm of law enforcement, fines, and penalties, issued for violations within the jurisdiction of the National Park Service are not returned to the effected park unit or even the Park service, but disappear in the general revenue accounts, to who knows where. This injustice and petty theft of revenues that rightfully belong to the effected park unit is responsible for law enforcement moral issues and discourages actual enforcements when such measures are most necessary. Imagine if police officers of any municipality county or state had their summons and fines taken out of their jurisdiction for a general fund, with no transparency or given to agencies not corresponding to goals or objectives related to the mother agency or service.
Our National Parks, historic wild and scenic landscapes are what make America great. Their mission and agencies have been diminished and degraded with cut backs and austerity measures all undeserving and unnecessary in a nation as wealthy as the USA. This further injustice only adds insult to injury. Are we that naïve or blind not to see that our nation has become a de facto trash dump? This same aberrant behavior impacts our national parks and becomes especially offensive. Only a Make America Great Again, increase in permanent law enforcement ranger jobs, and other required occupations such as maintenance crews and historical interpreters all working in unison to defend our sacred places unimpaired as much as possible for future generations can keep America Great always.
This minor remedy of having revenue generated by fines for breaking regulations returned to the effected National Park Unit should be a simply matter for our Congress to correct. Having written about this in the past to Congress and the Senate and most recently to Congressman Frelinghuysen’s office in Morristown when will this simple injustice be remedied? America cannot be great without its National Parks. Revenues generated by law enforcements administered by National Park rangers must remain within the jurisdiction of the effected park unit; especially in places like the Delaware water Gap, which suffers many violations of the Codes of Federal Regulations. Finally:
As this should be a small matter for the Congressman to amend and correct:

I recently asked Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen to please look into the matter of fines for violations issued in National Parks not returning the revenue to the affected Park Unit, or even the Park Service itself. This is a form of petty theft upon an agency already underfunded and suffering other austerity measures.

One last thought. It might be time to replace the POW/MIA flag with the ecology flag. War is not the answer ecology mutual respect and recognition for other life forms is. America love it or leave it alone.
