Route 10 Reopens Following Crash That Downed Wires, Pole
Officials closed the highway in both directions for much of Wednesday.
MORRIS PLAINS, NJ — If your commute involves Route 10, good news: the roadway has reopened in both directions. Officials closed Route 10 in both directions for much of Wednesday after a crash that downed a pole and wires.
But repair work has been completed as of early Thursday morning, according to Morris Plains police.
The crash closed the area of 1717 Route 10, knocking down a pole and wires. Jersey Central Power & Light went to the scene and worked on power outages in the area.
