Rt. 80 Delays In Both Directions Due To Multiple Crashes

ROCKAWAY, NJ — A jack-knifed tractor trailer is causing traffic delays and lane closures on Route 80 Thursday morning, NJ DOT said.

The crash is on I-80 eastbound near Exit 37 in Rockaway. The right lane and exit ramp are closed, and there are delays of 35 minutes as of 8:22 a.m.

The traffic is spilling onto other, nearby roads as drivers attempt to get around the crash:

• As of 8:14am, there's an Accident with Injuries on NJ 23 southbound at I-287 in Riverdale. 2 right lanes closed 5-10 minute delay.
• As of 7:54am, there are Delays on US 46 eastbound between NJ 10 Circle and CR 642/Kenvil Av in Roxbury Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 7:45am, there are Delays on NJ 10 eastbound between Ledgewood Traffic Circle and Eyland Av/Mekeel Dr in Roxbury Twp delays due to volume.
• As of 8:35am, there's an Accident on I-80 local lanes westbound East of Exit 45 - CR 637/Beverwyck Rd in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp. Right lane closed 5-10 minute delay.
