Senior Retired Set Income Tax Relief Simple End BOE Taxes

If New York Can do This for their senior retired citizens; why can't Jersey? They who need the most relief get the least. Simple solution.

Open Letter to Governor Phil Murphy

Subject: Senior Citizen Board of Education Tax relief

Why is it so difficult to end Board of Education Taxes for retired senior citizens; as for example New York does? The senior tax freeze merely ends the increases at age 65; however one is forced to apply for this year after year; an inconvenience and unnecessary once established.
Having given to the common good of public education all along, when reaching the final years of life, the common good should be centered in allowing some extra finance to increase quality of life, as the cost of living always increases; and other needs arises, medical and dental.
Many local BOE have become separate entities from the Municipal Authority, taking monies for high paying BOE officials, like CEO of a corporate power, not a public trust. Add paying for sports teams, not just physical education. Parents not seniors need to manage monies taken from their own sources, and not exploit seniors on set incomes. (Supporting Teachers is important, BOE Academic Officers behaving like corporatist is another).

Many seniors such as myself have a limited savings and a meager set income. Why is this so difficult; or is it taboo to conceive? Pondering Corporate tax evasions and offshore scams that rob the common, it appears the State simply takes, and puts on the back of all its citizens to compensate for loss revenue; seniors included. If we factor in lack of federal funding in a corporations are people atmosphere, where our federal taxes go to undermine public education, and spend tax dollars in defense, and overseas interventions, we see the extent of the injustice. Add in addition NJ taxes pensions, no matter what income bracket they embrace.
Governor Murphy if States like New York and others can relieve senior, retired citizens of the BOE tax, so can New Jersey. Time NJ got tough with corporate power, instead of robbing the common man or woman.. End the impersonal economy that exploits unnecessarily. Bye the way what ever happened to the State Lottery funds supporting education, that was the original intention; or was it scam excuse?

Sincerely
