Township Supports Redhawks with Pasta
The PHS Diamond Club and the Sons of Italy collaborate to raise funds for the high school baseball team.
Parsippany gathered for good food and a good cause at the last Thursday. The occasion was the first annual Baseball Pasta Dinner sponsored by the Diamond Club.
Event proceeds went toward the High's Redhawks baseball team.
Mayor James Barberio made a welcome appearance to cheer on the team, and the PHS baseball coaches were on hand to show their support. The real draw of the event, however, was the food—pasta with homemade meatballs and sauce prepared by the local chapter of the Sons of Italy, a civic group dedicated to community service.
