Tree Trimming Begins In Parsippany: See If Your Street Is Affected

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Jersey Central Power & Light began clearing limbs from power lines in Parsippany. You might see crews on your street.

The work involves routine tree trimming to provide four years of clearance for electric wires, while removing limbs overhanging the three-phase electric lines, the township says.

"All tree removals are performed in accordance with JCP&L’s easement rights or otherwise with the written consent of the property owner," says the township's announcement.
