Troy Hills School Color Bash 2017 was a Colorful Hit!

On Sunday May 21, 2017, the Troy Hills School PTA organized a Color Bash Run/Walk at Veterans Park in Parsippany, New Jersey.

The event started with a warm up with one of our very own local moms, funky beats played by one of our local dads. The race was started by Mayor James Barberio who encouraged the kids to run their best and have fun! Volunteers from Parsippany High School and the Boy Scouts threw bright colors at the runners while they proudly ran wearing their white Color Bash tshirts!

Runners participated in a 5K that ended with lunch that was provided by Applebees and Jimmy Johns of Parsippany, apples from Whole Foods (Morristown) and water from Trader Joe's (Florham Park) and Wegman's (Whippany). The Kona Ice Truck gave our runners a little something sweet to cool off with after the run!

We were fortunate to gain the sponsorship support of several local business and donations that were used to create a Basket Raffle. Winners walked away quite happy with their wonderful prizes!

We are thankful to the many parents who volunteered their time and effort to raise funds for Troy Hills School!
