UPS To Hire 2,400 Seasons Employees, Many In Parsippany
UPS is currently hiring in Parsippany, as well as two other North Jersey locations. More hires are expected as the holidays approach.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Even though it may not seem like it, the first part of the holiday season is approaching: gift buying.
With an expected uptick in package volume, UPS announced that the company is planning to hire 2,400 seasonal employees this year in North Jersey, a portion of whom will work in Parsippany.
Nationally, the company says they expect to hire 100,000 employees.

"We're preparing for another safe, record peak holiday season. With COVID-19 continuing to impact Americans, our services are more important than ever," said Nando Cesarone, president of U.S. operations.
The company is filling full and part-time seasonal positions, primarily package handlers, drivers, driver helpers and personal vehicle drivers.

Some locations in North Jersey are currently hiring as well, including locations in Saddle Brook, Parsippany and Secaucus.
According to UPS, seasonal employees often turn into more permanent roles.
Over the last three years, about one-third of people hired by UPS for seasonal package handler jobs were later hired in a permanent position when the holidays were over, and about 138,000 current UPS employees – nearly a third of the company's U.S. workforce – started in seasonal positions, the company said.
Here are the New Jersey locations currently hiring:
- Meadowlands — 493 County Ave., Secaucus
- Saddle Brook — 280 N. Midland Ave., Saddle Brook
- Parsippany — 799 Jefferson Rd., Parsippany
