PARSIPPANY, NJ — Veterans Day on Thursday will affect the schedule for garbage, recycling and yard-waste pickup in Parsippany. Here's the schedule for this week:

• Monday: Garbage Districts 1,2,4; Recycling District 1; Yard Waste District 1
• Tuesday: Garbage Districts 3,5,6; Recycling Districts 2 & 6; Yard Waste Districts 2 & 6
• Wednesday: Garbage Districts 1,2,4; Recycling District 3, no cardboard pickup; Yard Waste District 3
• Thursday: Recycling Center closed
• Friday: Garbage Districts 3,5,6; Recycling Districts 4 & 5; Yard Waste Districts 4 & 5
