Vikings Football Begins Title Conquest With Saturday Playoff Game
Parsippany Hills tries to earn back-to-back championship game appearances but looks for different finish in 2014.

Another season, another 7-2 record, and another high-seed playoff berth.
For the Parsippany Hills Vikings, this season is all about finishing what it started.

The Vikings enter the North 2, Group 3 playoffs as the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6-seed Orange at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. The winner will take on whoever comes out of the Summit (No. 2) vs. Morris Hills (No. 7) game on Nov. 21.
Parsippany Hills lost to Summit in a heartbreaking 16-13 title game last December at Kean University.

Both of the Vikings’ losses came against Sussex County teams, dropping a high-scoring affair to Pope John on Sept. 27, 49-28, and another to Sparta on Oct. 25 by a score of 49-14.
Parsippany Hills is averaging 32.4 points per game while allowing just 20. Cranford drew the No. 1 seed in the bracket and will face North Plainfield on Nov. 14. West Essex and Voorhees round out the section.
