Waterview Shadows RD Hopes to Win Elections RD is SuperPac SuperPac is not Community or Parsippany

Our last landscapes and community integrity at stake from outside forces. Home Rule is Developers Rule.

Democracy is not a contest or is it? Most money wins is not good government.

Some people just never learn and have closed mines, even when representing a community that demonstrates its contentions and reasons of why something should not be allowed in their names. The waterview ongoing saga continues in its threat to the region and immediate neighborhood its threshold guards and enhances. This last remaining unique landscape and important ecological component of the ground water recharge phenomena and part of the Troy Brook, Troy Meadows complex fails to be seen as an important long-term land preservation endeavor. How could the Mayor bring in an outside force like RD without first calling for some special municipal meeting of which the community played a major part? This happened of its own, without the expectation of the pro-development waterview schemers, to the Mayors surprise.

If in 2010 Barberio continued with the Regional Master Plan Conformance; as he started, perhaps “waterview landscape” would have be recognized for its real long term value to the community and the planet. Why did Barberio, suddenly stop the conformance; Inglesino? This proves who actually runs the town, as Inglesino does not favor Regional Planning but home rule, which in cases like RD and its lawsuit; he makes money off the taxpayers. Perhaps if this money was spent on having the public participate in local planning and zoning the money would be better spent and much less of it. The public has not been consulted nor educated in the benefits of a regional plan conformance for Parsippany, instead corporate developers target our remaining spaces for unneeded “new land development

.dePierro is hell bent on allowing waterview to be developed; despite its value as a natural resource and enhancing landscape. He & SuperPac are pro-outside developers and do not have the best interest of the immediate community. They don’t know the difference between endless growth and development. Mike dePierro explained: waterview”is” going be developed and that’s that; people will have to get used to it. “We need the rateables”. He fails to see the falsity of the tax rateable, or the importance of defending our water supply. Waterview to him is real estate. He supports “home rule” which is developers rule. de Pierro; “what is good for the region may not be good for Parsippany”, well it just may be, and most likely is. That is like saying, what is good for mankind is not good for one man. How can local planning boards do a better job than regional planners? Unlikely; in that not only is more democracy involved, but land science and legal protections are forthcoming. However home rule allows outside forces like RD and others to speculate in land use market schemes of duplicitous natures. For example is the tax ratebale assumption really worked Parsippany would have more than enough revenue.

These guys will actually take joy in getting their way against the very community they are alleged to represent. To them this is progress and Parsippany will become even more of a developer’s landscape, with their complete blessings and perhaps under the table pay-offs somewhere. If you don’t love the land, or see not every parcel or block lot should be a commodity, or that water is a public trust and its future quality and quantity is at risk then step aside, you’re not the people, we the people need. Their values are not the “human values required of our times.

Three things should never become commodities in themselves; land, water and human beings. If RD and Bell Meade were decent they would give this land as open space, as they already are farming it for trees, which is a scam using a “farmland tax evasion bill”. As Troy Meadows uplands were rezoned, so should the waterview landscape now be zoned, farmland; even better zoned as Existing Community Zone-Environmentally Constrained Sub-zone.

Notice: who is placing all the job adds in the Local Patch ? Find these jobs suspect as far as their over-all benefits and securities and who can actually fill them in the Parsippany area.

RD will get the tax-right-off, Parsippany will get the tax burden..
