Students Sing with World-Renowned Ensemble
Western Wind Ensemble collaborates with Parsippany high school and middle school singers.
The choruses of , , and came together for a special performance at the Par Hills auditorium featuring the internationally acclaimed vocal sextet, the Western Wind Ensemble.
The concert capped a day in which the students had the privilege of spending time in seminars and master classes with members of the ensemble.
The highlight of the evening came during the finale, when the combined choruses and the ensemble performed a musical piece written by WWE member Elliott Z. Levine, who used poems by Parsippany school students as lyrics.

The poems were the work of Par High student Lisette Rivera and PHHS' Jessica Wohlrob, Annie Giercyk and 2011 grad Ryan Barwick.
The sponsored the event and made it possible. The PEF is a nonprofit organization made up of township residents who raise money to provide grants to fund opportunities and experiences in hopes of enriching and enhancing the education received by students in the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District.
