Woman Killed In Butler House Fire
The woman's parents, both in their 80s, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

BUTLER, NJ — A woman was killed in a house fire in Butler late Tuesday night, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said on Wednesday.
The 61-year-old Butler woman died as a result of the fire, Knapp said. Her parents, who are 87- and 83-years old, were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Their identities were not released.
A fire broke out at the 4 Bartholdi Avenue home just before 11 p.m. Tuesday night, Knapp said. The cause is still under investigation.

Butler Police Department, the Butler Fire Department, Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, Bloomingdale Fire Department, Kinnelon Fire Department, Pompton Lakes Fire Department, Pompton Lakes/Riverdale First Aid Squad, the Morris County Sherriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Arson/Environmental Unit and Major Crimes Unit all responded to the home.
