• Longtime Regional Bus Operator Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy (whatnow.com) — A Passaic-based school transportation company, Joshua Tours LLC, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy but is expected to keep operating buses while it restructures under court supervision. The company, which serves schools across Northeast New Jersey, reports millions in assets and liabilities and hundreds of creditors, yet has not issued public guidance for parents or school partners about any service changes.

• NJ-11 Unofficially Called for Mejia, But Passaic County Votes — Including Wayne — Still Unreported (tapinto.net) — Passaic County voters are still waiting for official results from Thursday’s special election in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District, even as major outlets project Democrat Analilia Mejia the winner based on Essex and Morris returns. The race fills the remainder of former Rep. Mikie Sherrill’s term, and both leading candidates are expected back on the ballot in June and November.
