Sunday June 28, 2026 1pm – 4pm FREE Community Acupuncture. Students from the New Jersey campus of Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (vuim.edu) will be performing free acupuncture treatments for the community. All are welcome to discover the benefits of acupuncture and how this ancient practice offers gentle holistic care that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and supports overall wellness. Not comfortable with needles? No problem. Students at VUIM are trained in ear seeds, tuina massage and acupressure. Tuina is a therapeutic form of Chinese massage that uses rhythmic pressure and manipulation to stimulate energy flow and relieve tension. Acupressure works on the same meridian points as acupuncture but uses gentle finger pressure instead of needles, making it a great option for relaxation and pain relief. Ear seeds offer a subtle yet powerful method by placing small seeds or beads on specific points of the ear to support stress reduction, cravings, and overall balance throughout the day. These holistic therapies can be used on their own or combined to support your wellness naturally and comfortably. Reservations are strongly recommended – 30minutes.
