• Initial Charges Filed in Water Street Shooting Investigation (perthamboynj.org) — Perth Amboy police have charged a 17-year-old city resident in connection with the May 14 Water Street shooting that injured a teen from Elizabeth, and say more charges are likely as the investigation continues. Officials stress there was no ongoing public threat, clarify the incident did not occur in a park or the marina, and thank residents for their cooperation.
