• Town Council Moves to Solidify Phillipsburg's Data Center Ban via Master Plan Update (tapinto.net) — Phillipsburg’s Land Use Board is moving to write the town’s data center ban directly into its Master Plan, reinforcing an ordinance adopted in April. A subcommittee will work through July so a full reexamination, including any broader zoning updates, can be presented for public review in August. 
• Months after sinkhole leaves residents homeless, they cry for help to come — faster (pennlive.com) — Months after sinkholes ripped through a Phillipsburg neighborhood, residents from eight evacuated homes are still waiting to learn if they can return. The town hired engineers for extensive testing, and Mayor Randy Piazza expects a final report soon, while frustrated homeowners continue paying taxes and utility bills on unlivable properties.
