• Planning Board Approves Norwescap Plans for Former Sullivan's Restaurant in Phillipsburg (tapinto.net) — A major redevelopment of the former Sullivan’s restaurant at 373 South Main Street is moving ahead, bringing a new restaurant, food-business incubator, and three deed-restricted affordable apartments to downtown Phillipsburg. The Land Use Board approved Norwescap’s plans, including a parking variance, after hearing how the project will preserve the historic building, overlook Shappell Park, and support local food entrepreneurs and workforce training.
   

• Warren County man charged with aggravated sexual assault of child (wrnjradio.com) — Phillipsburg police and the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office have charged a 56-year-old Blairstown Township man with aggravated sexual assault and related offenses after a July report to Phillipsburg authorities about a child victim. The suspect is being held in county jail while prosecutors seek pretrial detention, and the case remains under the supervision of the Special Victims Unit.
