If you live near Dewey, Sayre, 6th Avenue, Carpentersville Road, or East Boulevard, review your surveillance and call police with anything suspicious instead of confronting anyone yourself. 
• High Point softball beats Phillipsburg in marathon to earn Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex title (lehighvalleylive.com) — Phillipsburg High School’s Stateliners pushed High Point to 10 innings before falling 5–3 in the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex softball championship on their home field. Phillipsburg tied the game twice, loaded the bases in the 10th, and got strong pitching from junior hurler Hannah Wodtke in the program’s first county title appearance in 28 years.
