Piscataway Schools Hit the Right Note Again with 9th Straight National Music Education Honor (tapinto.net) — Piscataway Township Schools have again been named one of America’s Best Communities for Music Education, marking nine straight years of national recognition. The NAMM Foundation honor spotlights the district’s strong music programs, dedicated educators, and community support, placing Piscataway among just 1,008 school districts nationwide and reinforcing the arts as a core part of local students’ education.
   

2. Piscataway Students Earn Montclair State University Dean's List Honors for Fall 2025 (tapinto.net) — Thirty-one Piscataway residents studying at Montclair State University have earned Fall 2025 Dean’s List honors, reflecting GPAs of 3.5 or higher with full-time coursework. The recognition highlights local students’ academic success at one of New Jersey’s major public universities, which now serves about 22,000 students across more than 300 programs.

Hunterdon County Cop Stalked Ex-Girlfriend, Put Tracking Device On Her Car: Prosecutor (patch.com) — A Hunterdon County police officer has been charged with stalking his ex-girlfriend after investigators say he put a tracking device on her car, prompting a domestic violence restraining order. The case is being compared to an August 2025 double murder whose suspect was later found dead in Johnson Park in Piscataway, underscoring ongoing scrutiny of local law enforcement practices.
