• Vehicle Towed in Plainfield as Police Investigate Homicide (tapinto.net) — Police towed a vehicle in Plainfield Sunday night that is believed, based on emergency radio traffic, to be connected to an ongoing homicide investigation near Milt Campbell Field. Officers were on Saint Nicholas Boulevard as the car was removed, and authorities are also still probing a separate March 28 fatal shooting on West Fourth Street, with few details yet released.
