Visioning Session: Designing Our Library's Future

What could our library look like? Come help us imagine it.

On Saturday, June 14 at 1 PM, Library Director Darren Miguez is joined by local architect Ed Klimek for an interactive visioning session — a chance to look at libraries from around the world and ask which of their best ideas could work here in Plainsboro.

This isn't a slideshow you sit through. It's a working session.

Ed will walk us through libraries that have built welcoming spaces for quiet work, collaboration, children, teens, and gathering. You'll be invited to react, sketch, share, and ask questions. No experience required — bring your eyes, your curiosity, and your honest sense of what works (and what doesn't) in our building today.

WHO IT'S FOR:

• Anyone who uses the library, occasionally or often

- Anyone who's wondered why one part of the building feels right and another feels off

• Parents and kids

- Students and remote workers

• Newcomers to Plainsboro and longtime residents

- Anyone curious about how spaces shape the way we live and learn
