• Democrats reshape Atlantic County government in election sweep (shorelocalnews.com) — Former Pleasantville Police Chief Sean Riggin won the Atlantic County sheriff’s race, defeating incumbent Joseph O’Donoghue as Democrats gained ground across county government. Riggin, who led Pleasantville’s department for six years, plans to work with police chiefs and community groups countywide. Reported election returns remain unofficial pending outstanding ballots and certification.
