111 Degrees? This Is How Hot It Got In Point Pleasant This Week

The heat index hit 111 degrees in at least one part of New Jersey on Wednesday. See list below.

The heat index was higher at the Jersey Shore and South Jersey than anywhere else on Wednesday One area even got to 114 degrees, while many other areas also exceeded 100-degree-plus temperatures. More of the same was expected on Thursday.

Parts of the Camden County area reached a 114-degree heat index on Wednesday, while the Point Pleasant Boro area appeared to hit 111 degrees.
