3 Searches Underway After Several Heartbreaking NJ Incidents

Three searches are underway during a heartbreaking weekend in New Jersey – two of which involve hit-and-run vehicles in two separate incidents that struck a total of three people.

In another incident, a vehicle struck two people at the Jersey Shore and fled. And a hit-and-run truck is being sought after an I-80 crash.

- An extensive search has been underway for a man who went underwater this weekend in New Jersey, police say. - A search was underway Saturday and Sunday after two people were struck in a hit-and-run weekend crash at the Jersey Shore, police said. A man and woman were hospitalized at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after the accident, police said. The crash happened when the Belmar Police Department received a 911 call on a report of a motor vehicle accident involving pedestrians on Saturday, police said.
