Cops Bust Bicycle Suspect In Point Pleasant Boro Bank Robbery
Police arrested the suspect one day after he fled on his bicycle.
Police say they've arrested a Brick man who fled a Point Pleasant Boro bank robbery on his bicycle this weekend.
David D. Mitchell, 31, of Brick was arrested Monday by Spring Lake police, according to authorities.
The robbery happened at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, when police responded to the TD Bank located at 3301 Bridge Ave. on a report of a bank robbery. Bank employees said that an unmasked suspect had entered the bank, displayed a note, and demanded money, police said.

He then fled on his bicycle. This photo was taken at the scene:

The suspect was described as a white male, late 20s to early 3os, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with short blond hair and a thin build, police said. The suspect was further described to have a tattoo on the left side of his neck. There was no weapon displayed.
