Cops: Point Pleasant Boro Man Had Crystal Meth And 11 Cocaine 'Baggies' In Belmar

A 33-year-old Point Pleasant Boro man was charged Sunday with having crystal meth and 11 “baggies” of cocaine in Belmar, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.
Michael Murphy was arrested Sunday after he was found with the baggies of a white powdery substance within 500 feet of a park.
He was also possessing the meth “capsules” within 500 feet of the park, court records say.

Murphy was charged with possession with intent to distribute. He is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Murphy was arrested on $250,000 bail.
