Hydrant Flushing In Point Pleasant Beach

POINT PLEASANT BEACH – The Point Pleasant Beach Water Department will soon be conducting a flushing of its distribution system.

This is part of the town's continuing effort to deliver the best quality water possible, officials say.

The flushing will take place through Friday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m. on weekdays only.

You may experience temporary low pressure or discoloration during the flushing period.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation," the town says.
