Arrest in theft of political lawn signs (starnewsgroup.com) — A Manasquan man has been charged with stealing about 30 political lawn signs supporting Point Pleasant's Republican mayor and council candidates along Beaver Dam Road, after home security video helped police identify his car. Local officials say the arrest followed a focused investigation by Point Pleasant police, and Mayor Sabosik plans to donate a previously offered reward to the Point Pleasant Police Explorers youth program.

CycleNation Rides For Stroke Awareness (jerseyshoreonline.com) — Point Pleasant hosted a CycleNation relay that brought together local cyclists, healthcare professionals, and businesses like Reckless Ride Cycle Studio to raise about $30,000 for stroke and heart health. Stroke survivor and spin instructor Stacy Quinn shared her misdiagnosis story and taught residents the BE FAST warning signs, stressing how fitness and blood pressure awareness can help prevent life‑threatening strokes.

No. 1 Donovan Catholic football stays unbeaten, showdown with No. 2 RBC next (app.com) — Point Pleasant Borough's football team fell 24–7 at home to top-ranked Donovan Catholic, despite entering halftime tied after a 64-yard touchdown pass. The Panthers controlled the clock early but turnovers and big runs from Donovan's star back Alex Staten decided the Shore Conference A South matchup and helped Donovan clinch at least a share of the divisional title.
